What are the costs of reversing changes?
Even if the rental provider provided formal approval for the modifications, a renter who has added furniture, renovated, altered, or improved the property before the conclusion of a rental agreement must:
return the property, taking into account reasonable wear and tear, to the state it was in before the adjustments were made; or
pay the rental provider the amount necessary to restore the property at a fair price.

An additional copy of the "alterations and restorations needed" section should be used to document any agreement between the renter and rental provider on alterations to the property (Part F). The rental provider and the renter must both sign.
